I am extremely honoured and delighted that I recently won five photographic awards for five pictures entered in the 16th Annual International Color Awards for 2023.
Los Angeles, California, June 2023 – 16th Annual International Color Awards honours photographer Geoffrey McKillop from Busselton, Western Australia. Professional photographer Geoffrey of McKillop Photography was awarded two Winner, Honourable Mention Awards and three Nominee Awards.
Basil O’Brien, the awards Creative Director said. “It is an incredible achievement to be selected as one of the best from over the 6,500 entries from 72 countries that we received this year. Geoffrey’s work received a high percentage of votes from the esteemed panel of judges. The Jury represented the industry’s biggest names and tastemakers. We could not have wished for a better group of professionals to work with.

The International Color Awards are the leading global awards honouring excellence in color photography. This celebrated event shines a spotlight on the best professional and amateur photographers worldwide and honours the finest images with the highest achievements in color photography.
The live online award gala was attended by industry leaders and the photographic community from around the globe who logged on to watch the climax of the world’s premier and largest event for color photography.

Please note: Having won 43 major photographic awards in 18 different categories consecutively over a 10 year period. This highlighting that I’m consistently shooting pictures of different genres to the highest level. I actually had a seven year hiatus from photographic competitions. I’ve now won a total of 70 major photographic awards in 21 different categories.
